Our family-run hotel near Salzburg can look back on a long, illustrious history and today combines old tradition with modern amenities and refined attentions. The roots of the church landlord date back to the year 1400, at that time still managed as a courtable estate. In 1909, the house came into the possession of the Rettenbacher family, who finally laid the foundation stone for the present accommodation business. August & Cäcilia took care of a number of reconstructions in later years and led the church host to an international reputation. Christian Rettenbacher has been running the company since 2001.
